Yes, it is true that kids have a more rich environment outside of school, and this is something that we as teachers need to take an initiative of change on when we start teaching. The only way to have a more modern learning environment is through in incorporation of more technology into the classroom. It is also very true that when we were limited to a pen and paper, we were limited on creativity. Now students have tremendous opportunities to explore and engage in their creativity in ways we were not able to.
